Refusing proposal of sole agency

As regards the question of sole agency, in our opinion, we both had better leave it in abeyance pending the development of business.

(2)我們欣賞您提出作為我坯布專銷代理，由于彼此之前尚不大熟悉，我們認(rèn)為待做些實(shí)際交易后再洽談此事為佳。

We appreciate your proposal of acting as our sole agent for selling Grey Cotton Fabrics. As acquaintance has not been well made with each other, we think it better to discuss the matter sometime later when some practical transactions have ben done.

(3)洽悉貴方要求作為我們?cè)谫F地的代理，但我們認(rèn)為目前洽談此事為時(shí)過(guò)早。我們意見(jiàn)，您可以首先在傭金基礎(chǔ)上與我方進(jìn)行交易。待相互之間熟悉之后再談此事，這對(duì)雙方都是有益的。

Your request for acting as our agent in your territory has been noted, but we deem it premature to discuss this matter at present. We are of the opinion that you may, first of all, do business with us on a commission basis, and it will be advantageous to both of us to discuss the matter when we are well acquainted with each other.
